SMART goals

Defining goals is one of the most important activities starting any project, especially using BIM.

Defining goals is one of the most important activities starting any project, especially using BIM.

What seems to be an easy task, in our experience we rarely see goals that are achievable or realistic. In creating our BEP's and also for our company we use the SMART method developed by Prof. Robert S. Rubin. Basically, it defines that all goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time based.

We usually recommend including all these aspects in to one or two sentences. Do you know any other methods for goal setting?
